uncooked was started in 2004 when a gal named nat met a fellow named armand. nat has blonde glossy hair like a swimsuit model and armand has a strong jaw and an unusually oily torso. nat, attracted to a man with a slippery stomach and armand, looking for a lady with the locks of swimsuit model caliber, knew they were meant to be….
over the next year, they would spend their days giggling about creeps and cloning machines and their nights dreaming about neck fat and tight buttocks. one day while nibbling on prawns poolside, the most glorious idea popped into their tiny heads. they would create the most honest, most absurd, most-strangest sweetest line of greeting cards the world would ever know. and they would call them uncooked cards!
nat & armand immediately left their jobs in advertising to enter the world of uncooked. big and small shops around the globe welcomed the blunt, fresh voice and colorful, quirky designs, making uncooked cards one of the most popular, best selling humor lines practically basically ever. today uncooked cards are sold in thousands of stores in the usa, uk, canada, australia, new zealand, and singapore and have attracted a massive online following made up of the smartest, craziest, funniest fans in the world. in 2009, nat and armand expanded uncooked to include an animation studio in tribeca, new york city. everything from animated shorts to television shows to animated cards are developed, created and produced here.
